Rise To Leadership Program

Accelerating women’s leadership and impact

Self Leadership Mastery

A 12-week training and mentorship course helping women to become

the leaders they’re meant to be.

You are a leader!

You can lead from where you are!

The tools and resources you need are already within you.

Are you ready to lead and make an impact in your company and community?

Most leadership training designed for women always assumes that to succeed in your leadership journey, you need to adopt a dominant identity somehow, even if it means letting go of your femininity and authenticity.
You are often advised to hire a voice coach to fix how you talk, sound or look so that you can express authority.

And the lists go on.

These are helpful tips that help shape how people perceive you, but they don’t make you a leader.

When I think about a lot of advice women receive daily to get to top leadership positions or be perceived as a “good” leader, it’s overwhelming and can be discouraging.

While it’s true that women have not been socialised to compete successfully in a world designed for men, we must learn skills that help us to succeed. However, women are not a problem to be fixed. You do not need to change your identity to succeed as a leader.

Instead, as women, I encourage you to focus on the impact you’re here to make – using your gifts, talents and unique value.

Because your gifts and talents are your tools to rise and lead.

My name is Ebere Akadiri, and I’m a leadership strategist and the Founder of Rise & Lead Women. In my work with leaders and having interviewed influential executives from small to large companies, including fortune 500 companies, I have learned that the best way to get to any position you desire is to focus on your self-leadership development.

Focusing on self-leadership means, you can reflect and clearly understand who you are, your purpose, goals, and aspirations. You can hone your leadership identity and the impact you desire to make and craft a vision or roadmap you need to achieve that. Only then will you understand the gaps and skills you need to develop. The Self Leadership Mastery framework in the Rise To Leadership Program makes all the difference.

You can show up with confidence, competence and character.

What’s The Rise To Leadership Program all about?

The Rise To Leadership Program is a self-leadership mastery program for women who desire to make an impact or get a seat at the table.

The program gives you the strategy, practical tips, workbooks, and processes you need to develop your leadership authentically.

You will understand how stereotypes and our socialisation keep women stuck and learn how to get free.

I will walk you through understanding your core gifts, unique value and contribution to help you know who you are and lead from that space.

You will create a holistic vision that aligns with your career, desires, family, or lifestyle.

With our proven strategies, you will uncover the hidden beliefs and habits holding you back from achieving your goals. You will unleash your inner confidence and be able to speak up, advocate for yourself and others and start making the impact you were born to make.

And the best part is, you will practice all these skills as you learn.

And then you’ll take all of that — your gifts, core values and vision, and career dreams — and turn them into a powerful self-advocacy strategy for asking for what you want and getting a seat at any table.

Because your gifts and talents are your tools to rise and lead.

At the end of this program, you will:

Know yourself and the value you bring to the table,
Gain the courage and confidence to speak up and lead in various situations,
See yourself as a leader, which influences how others perceive you, and
Build the capacity to manage your challenging situation and business demands.

Here’s everything we will be covering:

Lesson 1: Know Yourself

The things that make you look different are what you need to step into your power. Your gifts, skills and core values are your tools to rise, lead and make an impact. Uncovering what they are and how to use them will make a massive difference in your life and career.
At the end of this lesson, you will gain greater self-awareness of who you are, what you stand for, and the unique value you can bring to any table.

Lesson 2: Build Your Career Roadmap

Are you clear about where you want to go and how far you want to go in life, your career or business?
If you are unclear about where you want to go and how far you want to go, chances are, you will never get very far.
The tool you need to plan your career and growth is called visioning. Visioning is a snapshot of your future career.
In this lesson, you will create a 3-year Vision & Plan to help clarify your career direction and the future you want to create for yourself: a vision for your growth and advancement so you can become more intentional in your career choices.

GETTING OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY: TURN YOUR VISION INTO REALITY
While it’s true that women’s contributions are ignored, it’s also a fact that a big reason women aren’t rising is their conditioning, which is working against some women. The messages we receive while growing up as women often impact our career path. For women to start rising to leadership, it’s essential to break away from these limiting beliefs and adopt a growth mindset that encourages our ambition and confidence and celebrates our gifts and talents.
In this module, you will make a plan to confront limiting beliefs and unsupportive habits, their origins, and how they have influenced your decisions and hindered your growth. You will learn to develop supportive habits and beliefs to help you overcome obstacles that may arise in your leadership journey.

Lesson 3: Overcome success blockers

GETTING OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY: TURN YOUR VISION INTO REALITY

Lesson 4: Unleash your confidence: Show up, speak up and be assertive

One problem that has consistently been discussed within women’s circles is that women are overlooked and interrupted, their ideas need to be addressed in meetings, or they need more confidence to speak up, make their opinions heard or ask for a promotion or higher pay. Speaking up requires some courage and confidence.
In this lesson, you will get the tools to help you take practical steps to overcome self-doubt. Ultimately, you can speak up and make their unique value and contributions visible to the right people.

Lesson 5: Build strategic relationships for long-term career success

Building strategic relationships can help you to achieve your career dreams much more quickly. In this lesson, you will learn the strategies and tools to effortlessly connect with people and build long-term valuable relationships without burning out.

Lesson 6: Put it together: Lead from where you are

Often, women wait until they get to a position of authority before seeing themselves as leaders. Leadership is not about one’s position but about making an impact. You can make an impact from where you are.

In this final lesson, we will put everything together – your gifts, values, vision, and confidence – and use them as valuable tools to make decisions like a leader, make an impact and rise.

Wrap-up & Closing: Build your self-advocacy and negotiation skills

Closing networking dinner to celebrate your achievement and meet with peers

The best part is that you will learn with a group of ambitious women ready to break the glass ceiling.
